Nat'l written exam

Does anyone know where I can get study material for the written national exam? I will be taking the test in Nevada approx. in about a month. Any information would be helpful.

Don't Go To The Make Up Counter Without Me. The book written by a woman named Paula who critiques a ton of cosmetic/skincare lines. Just wondering how seriously I should take her opinions.

break-outs following a facial or use of acne products

Has anyone else experienced this? I know there is a detox effect after a facial, but I noticed the same effect upon beginning a salicylic acid gel treatment. Is this normal...can it be avoided? Can the acne medication bring more break-outs to the surface?

thanks for any help here!

i steamed and tried to lance a pimple w an instrument from sephora
it left a tiny blood blister or bascially a what looks like a small bright spot of red blood just beneath the surface

i read on a acupuncture site a cold siver spoon or arnica oil immediately (would that work?) but now its a couple days....what can i do?

cysts on lip line

My 16 year old daughter has 2 small cysts on her upper lip line. Saw a dermatologist who squeezed pus out of one cyst, but it came to a whitehead again, so derm sent her to a plastic surgeon who plans to surgically remove the cysts(he specializes in hand plastic surgery). Surgery seems a drastic move, but both doctors say surgery is needed. My daughter plays trumpet in the school band which we've been told may be the cause of the cysts developing on her lip.
